Detailed steps:
STEP 1: Download SHADOWSOCKSX for MAC OS X

Using the SS client as an example:
STEP 2: Open the downloaded DMG file, drag the program icon to APPLICATIONS on the right, and the installation is complete
STEP 3: Enter LAUNCHPAD, open SHADOWSOCKSX, and when the program icon appears in the upper right corner, click the icon – “Servers” – “Open Server Preferences”
STEP 4: Based on your account information, fill in the server address (IP or domain name), port, encryption method, and password, then click OK
STEP 5: Select the server you just configured, click “Turn On SHADOWSOCKS”, DONE!
Open SAFARI or CHROME and start browsing!
