Method 1: Use a Potatso Lite SS or SSR account to bypass censorship.
According to testing and feedback, shadowrocket has shown some instability. So we now recommend using Potatso
Lite. You can search for this app directly in the App Store, and it currently costs 6 yuan.
The latest version of Potatso
Lite has added a “Smart Routing” feature. It is recommended to enable it. This feature allows automatic proxying, meaning access to blocked overseas websites goes through the proxy, while access to domestic websites does not. This is both convenient and secure.
Specific setup method:
Open Potatso Lite on the iOS home screen
Start configuring the account information and select the + in the upper right corner
Click Manual Input
There are several types available. You can choose according to your needs; here we use SSR as an example
After filling in the information, click the check mark in the upper right corner to save
Click here to get free SS or SSR account information
If you do not want to pay for Potatso
Lite, you can use shadowrocket instead. Although it is somewhat unstable, it is still usable. How to use shadowrocket
Method 2: Use the Nima Proxy app to bypass censorship.
Search for Nima Proxy in the App Store. It is currently free. Install it and open it to use. The setup is very simple, so no tutorial is provided here.
Method 3: Use Wi-Fi together with a PAC proxy address. This proxy method can only be used to bypass censorship in the browser and cannot proxy applications.
Open Wi-Fi, tap Settings, and under the HTTP Proxy section, choose Automatic. Then copy the PAC address into it. After that, go back to Wi-Fi and it will be saved. The phone will not display a “VPN” icon, but as long as the PAC proxy address is still valid, you will be able to bypass censorship. When you do not need it, just turn off the HTTP proxy.
Specific setup method：
First connect to Wi-Fi, then tap the exclamation mark next to the Wi-Fi network to configure it
Turn on Automatic under the HTTP option, paste the PAC address into the URL field, then tap Wi-Fi to go back and it will be saved

After the setup is complete, open the following websites in your browser to test whether it worked successfully. We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox to access the open internet.
