Tutorial for using the cracked version of Lantern
Step 1: Disable DEP: run the command in the command line, enter the following in the command line, then restart your computer.
bcdedit /set nx alwaysoffType cmd in the Start menu on your computer, and the command prompt window will appear
Step 2: Install Lantern, choose the software indicated by the red arrow to install
After Lantern is installed, a Lantern icon will appear on the desktop
Step 3: Put the lantern file into the Lantern installation directory
First, open the downloaded folder and you will find a file named lantern; the image below shows the file name
Then copy this lantern file into the folder where Lantern was installed
The installation directory for Lantern is C:UsersAdministratorAppDataRoamingLantern
We can copy the folder path above directly into the folder window and press Enter to jump to that directory automatically
Step 4: Use PE to inject Lantern so that Lantern is no longer subject to traffic limits
Now open the downloaded file and open the LPE-DLX folder
Then open the lordpe.exe file
Now start the injection; click PE EDITOR here
In Lantern’s installation directory: C:UsersAdministratorAppDataRoamingLantern
Click the lantern.exe file to open it
Click Directories
On the import table row there are three dots, then click OK
.In the import table, choose any DLL name, right-click it, and select “add import”,
Enter “lantern.dll” on the first line and “patch” on the second line, then click the + sign.
Then click the + button, and then click OK
Then this error dialog box will appear, but the injection has actually succeeded, so just ignore it here~~
After the injection is done, you will find an additional lanter.dll file in the import table
Then launch Lantern from the desktop, and you’ll find that it automatically updates every 8 minutes, which means you can keep using the free trial indefinitely and renew it for free without limits.
PS:
1 If PE injection fails, uninstall and reinstall Lantern, or kill the lantern process and then inject the executable again.
2 If LordPE crashes, just ignore it. To confirm that the patch is working, check whether Lantern’s traffic quota resets to 500MB remaining every eight minutes. If the traffic has already been used up, delete all Lantern-related files, do a fresh install, and apply the patch again; the traffic will be reset. Also, since the Two Sessions, Lantern has been unstable, and even the original version disconnects, so it’s not an issue with the patch.
