How to Use Cisco IPSec Client on PC

Before using this program, be sure to enter the following command in the Administrator command prompt

This is for adding an entry to the registry.

Select the second option during installation; it is the free version and can be used as well

Step 1: select Add to add a server

Step 2: enter the host IP in Host Name or IP Address

Step 3: click the Authentication tab, then select Mutual PSK + XAuth from the Authentication
Method drop-down menu

Step 4

Click the Credentials sub-tab and enter your VPN IPsec PSK in the Pre Shared Key field

Step 5

Click the Phase 1 tab, then select main from the Exchange Type drop-down menu

Step 6: Enter sha1 in HMAC ALGORITHM

Step 7: Select Save

Final step: Select the host with the IP you just used, then enter the account and password

Then connect, and you will be able to access the internet
